About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ALM Test Manager to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the testing function for medium to large-scale transformation programs in the Banking and Finance domain.
  • Coordinate and work with multi-location delivery teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with senior executives.
  • Develop and implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in leading testing functions for medium to large-scale transformation programs.
  • Experience in coordinating and working with multi-location delivery teams.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and dealing with senior executives.
  • Preferred qualifications: degree in a numerate subject (e.g., math, computer science).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
