About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Tax Director to lead our personal tax advisory work for a diverse and growing client portfolio. As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading advisory work for a significant portfolio of corporate clients, from large Private Equity groups to small international businesses
  • Monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management for your selection of clients, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Providing well-rounded tax compliance and planning advice
  • Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem-solving
  • Overseeing junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training
  • Supporting the compliance team with the preparation of computations where needed
  • Interpreting changes to taxation legislation and providing trusted advisory to clients and colleagues
  • Championing your own professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities
  • Supporting business development strategies by reviewing and appraising internal work practices

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a CTA, ACCA, or ACA qualified Tax Director with impressive experience in UK practice. You will have a rich history of autonomously managing a portfolio in practice, top-tier communication skills, and sound attention to detail. You will be a proactive problem-solver, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organized. You will also be a team player able to work closely with senior team members and inspire junior staff.
