Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues in children and young people.
Working closely with our team of experienced professionals, you will undertake assessments and deliver low-intensity group and individual interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, and/or behavioural difficulties. You will also work closely with school staff to support children, their families, and staff to foster a whole-school approach to mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues in children and young people.

- Undertake assessments and deliver low-intensity group and individual interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, and/or behavioural difficulties.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in mental health, with experience of working with children and young people. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with school staff and other professionals.
