Job Description:

Care New England Health System is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health Information Management Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining accurate and complete patient records, ensuring the security and confidentiality of electronic medical records.

About the Role:

  • Maintains accurate and complete documentation of patient records
  • Ensures the security and confidentiality of electronic medical records through adherence to established safeguards
  • Prints clinical documents for Medical Surgical and Hospice patients, including 485s and physician orders
  • Transmits documentation/orders to physicians via fax, mail, or Doc Center uploads

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one year of related experience is preferred. The ideal candidate should possess medical terminology skills and basic/intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook. Estimated salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
