Finance Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Graduate Finance Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in management accounting and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Finance & Business Manager in providing expert management accounting services.
- Acquire a broad range of practical management accounting experience.
- Ensure monthly accruals and prepayments are posted and accurate supporting documentation is maintained.
- Produce budget statements in line with the department's monthly timetable.
- Access data from various sources to produce variance analysis reports for budget holders and senior managers.
- Support the Assistant Director of Finance in producing the Finance Report to the Board.
- Respond to queries from budget holders.
- Ensure budgets are set in accordance with agreed business plans.
- Assist in preparing business plans, business cases, and service change proposals.

Requirements- Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience of working in a finance or healthcare role is desirable.
- Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles is desirable.
