Press Machine Technician

Job Requirements:

We are looking for a Press Machine Technician with previous experience working with press machines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metalworking processes and be able to set up and operate press machines (Amada and/or Edward Pearson) to produce high-quality metal components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches to produce parts for assembly operations.
  • Read from technical drawings and conduct quality checks on work produced to ensure precision and accuracy.
Working Hours:

You will have the choice between a fixed day shift or a rotating shift pattern:

  • DAYS: Monday to Thursday (07:30hrs - 16:30hrs), Friday (06:00 - 12:00hrs)
  • ROTATING: Monday to Friday (06:00hrs - 14:00hrs week one, 14:00hrs - 22:00hrs week two) with each Friday being half a day
  • NIGHTS: Sunday to Thursday (22:00hrs - 06:00hrs)
Pay and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £15.64 - £20.85 per hour, depending on skills and previous experience.

In addition, you will receive:

  • A £1000 signing on bonus
  • A 10% bonus on top of hours worked where more than 48 hours have been completed in a week
  • Weekly pay paid every Friday
  • 28 days' holiday per year
