Job Overview:

Aston Charles is partnering with a world-leading insurance company to find a skilled Development Underwriter for its highly successful Financial Lines team. This company is renowned for providing innovative insurance solutions and uses its expertise to insure complex risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Underwriting Individual Risks: Source new business opportunities within your region and underwrite Professional and Management risks within your defined underwriting authority.
  2. Identifying and Securing Scheme Opportunities: Identify and secure scheme opportunities to drive business growth.
  3. Networking and Business Development: Attend networking events and establish relationships with brokers to encourage development meetings and telephone contact.
  4. Reporting and Analysis: Provide input to the Head of Financial Lines on broker activity and new business production.
