Nursery Management Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at The Opportunity Hub UK. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational and care experience for our children.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager to support staff and drive excellence in our nursery settings. Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, developing staff skills and knowledge, and ensuring compliance with statutory frameworks and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educational Leader: Lead the implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age ranges, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality educational experience for our children.
  • Staff Development Coordinator: Develop strategies to improve staff practices, provide training and support, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Administrative Assistant: Maintain clear and accurate records, including staff records and financial data management, ensuring efficient and effective administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in childcare or minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification, demonstrating strong theoretical knowledge and understanding.
  • At least 5 years of post-qualifying experience, including 2 years managing and supervising staff in an early years setting, showcasing leadership skills and expertise.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum, child protection procedures, and health and safety legislation, ensuring compliance and best practice.

Estimated Salary:** £47,800 per annum

Working Hours:

All our nurseries are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM daily, year-round, except for bank holidays and a week between Christmas and New Year.
