Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor Consultant to join our team at DG Partnership Ltd. As a key member of our construction consultancy, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with cost management, contract administration, and dispute resolution on various projects across the UK, Dubai, and the Maldives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing cost reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Variation Accounts: Manage and process variation accounts, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Applications for Payments: Coordinate and process applications for payments, ensuring smooth project cash flow.
- Contract Administration: Assist in contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Requirements:
- Education: Currently undertaking or recently completed a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years on-the-job experience (either day release or post-degree).
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team, detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
