As an Electrical Design Specialist at Elite Hire, you will be responsible for producing electrical system designs for a variety of projects. Your tasks will include developing the skills required in the production of electrical system designs, creating schematics, hook-ups, and other electrical design documentation using electrical CAD software and AutoCAD.

In this role, you will work closely with internal & external scientific and engineering staff to produce electrical systems designs for projects including motor control systems, vacuum control systems, electrical rack and panel design, low voltage distribution systems, and rely and interlock logic.

Key responsibilities include designing control panels and associated systems for various projects and industries, creating electrical schematics for control systems that will be fabricated on-site, and communicating with key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

You will also provide support for engineers involved in site installation to ensure project delivery, carry out feasibility studies for new technical innovations, and use appropriate systems and programmes as needed.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Competent in E-Plan and AutoCAD packages
  • Good knowledge of H&S procedures and systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in either a design office or construction market
