Role Overview

The Gen AI Program Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the implementation of generative AI solutions across various business areas within Tata Consultancy Services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Manage complete Gen AI development and implementation programs, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Business, Data Engineering, and ML teams to oversee the low-level design of solutions and drive innovation through brainstorming sessions.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of documentation and knowledge sharing, facilitating seamless handovers and ensuring consistency in solution deployment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Experience working on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on Google Vertex AI, Kubeflow, and various Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Machine Learning and NLP: Expertise in NLP techniques and deep learning libraries, including Transformers-based models, LSTM, biLSTM, CNN, and other Machine Learning algorithms and tools.
  • Programming Languages: Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, and exposure to MLOps and LLMOps.

Business Acumen and Industry Knowledge:

  • BFSI Industry Experience: Previous experience working in the BFSI industry, particularly in retail banking, is preferred.
  • Banking Industry Understanding: Strong understanding of banking industry business processes to design effective generative AI workflows.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
