About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our client, a leading Construction Group in the UK. As a key member of the sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that sustainability is embedded in all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies to reduce the company's environmental impact
- Collaborate with the Head of Sustainability and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Conduct site visits and audits to monitor sustainability performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives
- Manage and report on sustainability data and metrics to inform business decisions
Requirements:
- Proven track record in construction sustainability, with experience in BREEAM, bids and tenders, carbon, data, reporting and engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to analyze data and develop insights to inform business decisions
