Job Summary:

TechNichols Resourcing Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance on heavy plant machinery, as well as undertaking projects and improvement work to plant machinery and building infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also have experience with mechanical equipment inspections, CMMS scheduling, and spares management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on heavy plant machinery

* Undertake projects and improvement work to plant machinery and building infrastructure

* Ensure spares are kept to optimum levels and spares used in PPM or repairs are recorded accurately

* Maintain a good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental procedures

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Mechanical Engineering

* Experience of mechanical equipment inspections and CMMS scheduling

* Ability to work at height and in confined spaces with relevant training provided

* Computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS office packages
