About the Job:
This Learning Support Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people with complex difficulties and learning challenges. Our client, a specialist college, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Help manage challenging behaviours through positive reinforcement techniques.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their personal development.
- Current safeguarding training is highly desirable.
- An enhanced child and adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Salary and Location:
The salary for this role is approximately £98 per hour, based on a £95 – £105 hourly rate. The position is located in Coventry CV4.
