Job Title: Hybrid IT Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Hybrid IT Administrator to join our team at GPS Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining PMI's computer systems, networks, and applications, ensuring availability of critical business systems and providing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Maintenance: Build and maintain systems to include servers, networks, applications, etc.
  2. Technical Support: Manage and resolve tickets by providing 1st to 3rd line technical support to end users.
  3. Documentation: Create, maintain and update documentation relating to all hardware and software systems.
  4. Security: Work to ensure compliance to maintain Security standards on all systems.
  5. Disaster Recovery: Maintain and manage the local disaster recovery process and documentation.
  6. Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for IT support technicians and internal stakeholders.
  7. Security Best Practices: Follow security best practices when deploying, upgrading, maintaining IT systems and services.
  8. Project Management: Experience in project management.
  9. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of ITIL and Prince 2 would be desirable.
Key Criteria/Skills Required:
  1. Network Knowledge: Working knowledge of networks and related protocols.
  2. Azure Experience: Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
  3. Troubleshooting: Skilled at troubleshooting, reporting and escalating IT related issues.
  4. O365 Experience: Experience in managing an O365 environment (Hybrid Cloud a plus).
  5. Virtualization: Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware.
  6. Hardware/Software Installation: Technical competence in installing and configuring new hardware/software/systems.
  7. Scripting: Comfortable with PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
  8. Process Implementation: Proven history of process implementation and management.
Desired Education and Experience:
  1. End User Support: Experience supporting end users, providing technical assistance, and resolving technical issues for Windows servers and workstations.
  2. Linux Experience: Linux experience preferred.
  3. Server/Network Support: Previous experience in a server/network/systems support role.
  4. VMware Experience: VMware experience desirable.
  5. Meraki Experience: Meraki experience desirable.
  6. Cloud Providers: Experience working with cloud providers preferred.
  7. Enterprise Backup Solutions: Experience working with Enterprise backup solutions (Rubrik, Veeam, etc.).
  8. Microsoft Intune: Experience working with Microsoft Intune.
