SEN Teacher Opportunity
Zen Educate is currently working with a few special needs schools and alternative provisions, seeking experienced teachers to take on part-time or full-time work for longer-term opportunities. This will involve teaching students ranging from 5 to 18 years old, depending on the class and school.
The schools cover a wide range of special needs, including ASC, SLD, MLD, SEMH, PMLD, and ADHD. As a special needs teacher, you will need to utilise support staffing to their full potential and have a calm and patient approach to your teaching practice.
Requirements include UK QTS, ideally with a specialism in SEN, but we would consider those trained in primary and secondary looking to move over. You will also need experience in teaching students with additional needs and those on EHCPs, good communication skills with parents and SLT, and an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
We are looking for professionals who can provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students. If you are passionate about teaching and making a difference in the lives of students with special needs, please get in touch to discuss the opportunities we have available.
