Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Rebellion Unplugged, our Tabletop RPG and Boardgame division. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of our boardgames and RPGs, ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the production schedule and workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Collaborate with the development team to maximize the quality and cost efficiency of projects
- Ensure that clear and consistent quality expectations are met, and projects are completed on schedule and to budget
- Liaise with international printers and freight companies to negotiate good terms and manage print deadlines
- Monitor product formats, print quantities, and schedules, and notify the team when decisions are likely to expose a project to freight spikes
- Analyze stock holdings and advise on reprints, and liaise with our Rights Manager on co-edition printings
- Proven experience in boardgame production
- Strong attention to detail, administrative, and organizational skills
- Experience liaising with overseas and domestic suppliers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of budget necessities
- Strong time management and scheduling ability
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and title management systems such as Consonance or Biblio
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize, work to multiple deadlines, and work well in a busy environment
- Knowledge and passion for the boardgame and RPG industries
- 22 days holidays + Christmas closure (typically 4 days) & Bank holidays (increasing with service at 5 years – one day each year until you reach 31 days)
