We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Researcher to join our team at Spotless | B Corp®. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading research projects from inception to completion, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research projects, developing and implementing research methodologies to address client challenges and objectives.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure research findings are integrated into design solutions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring clear and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with other agencies, recruiters, and consultants to direct their efforts and ensure quality results.
- Stay up-to-date on innovations in the industry and academia, contributing to the development of new and evolving methods and processes.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of industry research experience, with a proven track record of leading research projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of multiple types of video games, including an interest in gaming trends and news.
- Ability to tailor research approaches to meet the specific needs of each project phase.
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Behavioural Science, Service Design, or related fields, or relevant professional experience.
- Commercial understanding, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced agency or business environment.
- Experience working in a variety of sectors with a digital focus, with a strong interest and/or experience in games research.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, across shorter tactical work, as well as more strategic design projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in championing human-centred design, design thinking, and innovation.
- Robust understanding of a wide range of research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
