Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Secondary Education Professional to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing cover for absent teachers, supporting students across a range of secondary subjects, and ensuring that they complete assigned work. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Students: Provide cover for absent teachers, supporting students across a range of secondary subjects, and ensuring that they complete assigned work.

Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment, using effective behavior management strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.

Communication: Establish positive relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff, communicating effectively to ensure that students receive the support they need.

Requirements

Qualifications: Degree-educated in any discipline, with a strong interest in education and a passion for working with secondary-aged students.

Skills: Confidence and ability to engage with students, versatile and able to think on your feet, strong behavior management skills and strategies, and a genuine interest in education.

Experience: Previous experience in education or a related field, or a strong willingness to learn and develop your skills in this area.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
