About Us:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Health and Wellbeing Manager to work as a Group Head of Workplace Occupational Health & Wellbeing, reporting to the UK SHEQ Director.

The successful candidate will play a significant role in supporting our organisation, delivering objectives around occupational health, safety, and wellbeing.

As a progressive, collaborative, and ethical leader, you will believe that safety and people are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement the organization's health and wellbeing strategy
  • Collaborate with HR, Health and Safety, and senior leadership to embed health and wellbeing programs
  • Manage health programs and services, including occupational health services and mental health initiatives
  • Utilize employee feedback, health data, and key performance indicators to continuously improve
  • Lead the delivery of wellbeing initiatives and campaigns
  • Manage 3rd party providers, including Employee Assistance Programme providers
  • Analysis of data to design and implement a targeted approach to wellbeing
  • Lead on psychological safety, behavioural insights, and flex working innovation projects
  • Act as the Group subject matter expert

Requirements:

  • A health professional related qualification
  • Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Health
  • Mental Health First Aid trainer, practising Mental Health First Aider
  • Significant experience in delivering organisational change
  • Ability to empathise and communicate with all people across all levels
  • Proven experience in handling, extrapolating data to provide meaningful insight
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Multi-site, national experience preferred
  • Knowledge of logistics & distribution, facilities/building/property safety management ideal
  • NEBOSH H&S Diploma (or equivalent) ideal
  • Experience of working with Unions preferred
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of mental health, wellness trends, and compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
