We are proud to be representing our client, a leading Building Services Company, in their search for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to work across various industrial client sites in the North West and Greater Manchester area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Fault finding, service, maintenance, and breakdown work on commercial and industrial heating and ventilation plant
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Working on a variety of equipment, including boilers, burners, radiant heaters, AHUs, etc.
  • Attending emergency call-outs
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1, etc.)
  • A full driving license
  • Previous experience in a similar service and maintenance role
  • Proven fault finding and breakdown experience
  • City & Guilds F-Gas / City & Guilds 18th Edition (desirable)
  • NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing (desirable)
What We Offer:

Our client is offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and mobile phone/tablet, as well as 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a £20 a day on-call bonus.

The role offers a permanent position with overtime available, paid at x1.5 and x2 on Sundays, and an attendance bonus.
