Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Educational Support Professional to join our team at an outstanding school in Walsall, West Midlands. As a key member of our staff, you will assist in the induction of newly-admitted pupils and support their social and academic development.

The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of safeguarding children procedures, knowledge of children's developmental needs, and an understanding of the varied needs of SEN pupils. They will also be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reviewing programmes designed to aid individual pupils' development.

In this temporary role, you will work closely with our teaching staff to ensure that all children and young people are treated with dignity and respect. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to the success of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and preparation of pupils for leaving school
  • Assist in the assessment of pupil needs through regular reviews and modifications as required
  • Take necessary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people
  • Ensure that all children and young people are treated with dignity and respect

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Basic understanding of safeguarding children procedures
  • Knowledge of children's developmental needs
  • Understanding of the varied needs of SEN pupils

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £23,114 - £27,334 per annum, plus excellent benefits. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and offers free child protection training to all registered candidates.
