Electronics Technical Lead

Expleo is seeking an experienced Electronics Technical Lead to join our team in Stevenage. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the technical solution to projects, developing technical solutions in line with customer development methods and processes, and managing the delivery of technical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical solution to projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop technical solutions in line with customer development methods and processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the delivery of technical solutions, coordinating inputs from different customer capability areas.
  • Coordinate the analysis of technical problems and constraints, proposing solutions or remedies.
  • Provide schedule and cost estimates updates to the Engineering Project Management Office.
  • Support quality management activities, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Participate in Project Delivery Review forums and Design Reviews, contributing to the development of technical solutions.
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
  • Leadership and working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Estimating design effort, timescales, costs, and associated risks.
  • Problem-solving across a wide range of technologies/products.
  • Communication, influencing, and negotiating.
Experience
  • At least 7 years' experience in a digital or analogue electronics design within a structured development environment.
  • Previous Technical Leadership experience in electronics development environments.
