At Starr Insurance Companies, we're seeking a skilled Airline Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you'll be responsible for underwriting profitable business for all sub-lines of Airline Insurance in accordance with business plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers to identify and optimize new business opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure accurate policy pricing and terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
  • Travel globally to service existing and prospective clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to maintain expert knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all Starr underwriting standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in airline insurance underwriting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Eclipse, Salesforce, and MS Office.
