Job Overview

OBM People are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Systems Specialist to join our team on a 2-year contracted basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our asset management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Management: Take full ownership of all instrument-related assets in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring seamless integration and performance.
  • Compliance & Improvement: Lead efforts to ensure that all instrument assets meet the highest standards of compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing projects that enhance our operational efficiency and safety.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with both the engineering and operations teams to provide expert advice on instrumentation systems, supporting ongoing manufacturing and operational activities.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: HNC (or equivalent) in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a 24/7 high-hazard COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) industrial environment.
  • Operational Insight: Hands-on experience working at the engineering and operational interface, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment.
