About the Role: As a Conveyancing Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property matters from inception through to conclusion. This will include sales and purchase, re-mortgage, transfer of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes and lease extensions. You will need to process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis, liaising directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders. Your goal will be to develop professional relationships with clients and other potential sources of work, generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
About the Person: To be a successful candidate for this role, you must have a relevant qualification (such as a solicitor or CILEx) or experience of managing your own caseload. Recent practical experience of working in the legal profession is also essential. You should have a proven track record in Conveyancing client case management and fee earning, be organised and process-driven, commercially astute, and committed to providing an excellent standard of client care. Experience of handling client enquiries both face-to-face and by telephone is also required.
