We are currently working with one of the South East's leading utility contractors, a forward-thinking and progressive business, to expand the streetworks team due to an increase in workload on established contracts.
The Streetwork Coordinator position offers excellent career growth potential with a company that values its employees and provides a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer permitting, involving the monitoring and coordination of streetwork activities
- Work closely with Site Agents for the planning and scheduling of work for up to 10 teams
- Collate all required permit information for works to allow the client to raise the permits
- Regularly liaise with the client to ensure all permits are administered with the correct information so that no FPNs or charges are incurred
- Assist management with challenging / resolving any FPNs received for completed works
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of permit conditions and experience of scheduling works
- Good knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA)
- Proficient in Microsoft packages and be a good communicator
This is a full-time office-based position with working hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm.
