We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our team at Bothwell Castle, a 5-star luxury care home providing nursing care for elderly residents. If you're motivated to help others reach their full potential and put residents at the heart of everything you do, we'd love to hear from you.

Position Details
  • Role: Team Leader (Nightshift)
  • Hourly Rate: £13.50
  • Hours: Full Time or Part Time
  • Pension plan
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
  • PVG paid
  • Onsite parking
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and respect.
  • Ensure all practices reflect our commitment to excellence in care.
  • Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of care assistants to foster a positive, efficient work environment.
  • Prepare, review, and understand care plans tailored to meet each resident's individual needs.
  • Administer medication according to guidelines and protocols.
  • Respond promptly to any concerns or changes in residents' conditions.
  • Develop effective working relationships with your team to ensure clear and open communication.
What We're Looking For
  • Caring Nature: Compassionate and motivated to provide the best care for residents.
  • Experience: Proven experience in supporting older people, particularly those with dementia.
  • Leadership Skills: Confident and experienced in leading a care team and championing residents' wellbeing.
  • Qualifications: SVQ or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential.
