Job Title: Technical Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to our clients, troubleshooting complex IT issues, and collaborating with our senior technicians and engineers to resolve challenging technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on and remote troubleshooting: Utilize technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues escalated from 1st line support
  • Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to understand their technical concerns, providing clear and friendly communication throughout the support process to build strong client relationships.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to escalate and resolve challenging technical issues, while also actively contributing insights and ideas to improve support processes and efficiency.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends through training and self-study, continuously expanding technical knowledge and skills to enhance support capabilities and career growth.
Requirements:
  • Experience providing technical support at a 2nd line level or at a 1st line level demonstrating you're ready for more
  • Experience of Microsoft server operating systems and technologies, user management through AD
  • Knowledge of ITIL, incident, problem and change management
  • Ability to understand and operate to the standards of Cyber Essentials for IT Security.
