About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Management Agent to join our dynamic team at our Head Office in Warwick. As a key member of our credit management operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving our debt collection efforts and leading a dedicated team to achieve key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide an Amicable Credit Management sub-team to maximize collections and reduce outstanding debts, fostering a continuous improvement culture that encourages growth and success.
  • Achieve collection targets that align with our broader business objectives, ensuring all team activities are in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Set the tone for internal and external customer messaging and communicate debtor reports and KPI information to senior management.
  • Model strong negotiating skills to team members, providing regular one-to-one support to help them develop and perform at their best.
  • Co-ordinate and deliver year-end audit activities, working closely with our wider finance team.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in complex debt collection (required) and a proven track record of line management, coaching, and motivating a team (desirable).
  • Educated to A Level standard, with a minimum of C/4 in English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Strong IT literacy with a good working knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP and Salesforce is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent reconciliation skills, with the ability to cut through barriers to customer payments.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills, capable of prioritising and coordinating team activities effectively.
  • Sharp analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Set high standards for yourself and your team, acting ethically and authentically in all actions.
