As a Retail Team Leader at The Entertainer, you will set an example for our Sales Assistants and assist the management team in a dynamic retail environment while holding key holder responsibilities. You will aid your management team in the everyday operations of the store and occasionally demonstrate your leadership skills by independently managing the store during absences.

Each day presents new challenges, and it's important to note that you will be active throughout your shift. Whether it's receiving stock, arranging displays of our top-selling items, delivering outstanding customer service, or utilizing your product knowledge to recommend the ideal toy, this role is both demanding and rewarding.

You will also play a crucial role in fostering a positive team atmosphere, mentoring and inspiring your colleagues to excel in their personal growth and to maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.

Responsibilities of a 30 Hour Retail Team Leader:

- Opening and closing the store, ensuring smooth operations in the absence of store management.

- Creating visually appealing displays in line with our merchandising strategies.

- Motivating and guiding your team in their professional development.

- Organizing and overseeing daily tasks.

- Participating in cash handling and security procedures to minimize losses.

- Delivering exceptional customer service and inspiring your team to do the same.

- Maintaining stock areas, managing defective goods, and overseeing deliveries.

- Crafting memorable experiences for children visiting the store.

- Enthusiasm for a retail career, with prior experience in a Sales Assistant role or similar position.
