Commercial Conveyancing Opportunity

Job Title: Conveyancing Fee Earner
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Southsea, Portsmouth

Company Overview:

Law Staff Ltd is a thriving property law firm seeking a diligent and dedicated Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Handle a varied caseload of conveyancing transactions from inception to completion, including sale, purchase, and remortgage of both freehold and leasehold properties.
  2. Conduct client consultations to gather and provide necessary advice and information, ensuring excellent service at all stages of the process.
  3. Prepare and review conveyancing documents and contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  4. Liaise with solicitors, lenders, and estate agents to ensure smooth progression and timely completions.
  5. Manage post-completion matters including registration and stamp duty submissions.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Paralegal, or Fee Earner within a conveyancing department.
  2. Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and current property law.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases independently under tight deadlines.
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, team members, and external parties.
  5. Proficiency in using case management systems and standard office software.
