About the RolePro-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in Cambridge. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from smaller not-for-profit organisations to large listed companies with turnovers up to £80m.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client portfolio, overseeing audits, accounts preparation, and tax compliance
- Delegate tasks to junior team members and review their work for final submission to the RI
- Build strong relationships with existing and new clients, taking a proactive role in business development
- Assist with interviewing new team members and contributing to marketing efforts
- Meet with clients to pitch and tender for new work
- ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA qualified (minimum requirement)
- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio
- Strong people management skills
- Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Commercially focused approach to client development
- Experience with audit software (such as Caseware) and Microsoft Office
