Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at a busy hotel in the Chesterfield area. The ideal candidate will have high volume and banqueting experience, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the culinary operations of the hotel, including managing the kitchen team, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £26,500 per annum, which includes a range of benefits such as free parking and 2 days off per week. We also offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour, based on a 45-hour working week.

Requirements

  • High volume and banqueting experience
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location

The hotel is located in the Chesterfield area, within easy commuting distance from Sheffield, Alfreton, and Worksop.
