About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Advisor to join our Clinical Support and Development team within our Academy in Manchester.

This is a permanent, part-time role (2-3 days) that offers the opportunity to grow within the Academy function.

The ideal candidate will be a GDC Registered Dentist with a minimum of 3 years' clinical experience and a passion for supporting the learning and development of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify clinical development needs for employed and self-employed clinicians, driving best practice, setting clinical standards, and supporting the creation of clinical development pathways.
  • Own the content and delivery of clinical induction for all clinicians joining the business.
  • Create and support content for peer review groups across CDA populations to support development, sharing of best practice, encourage communication, and networking with a learning focus.
  • Act as a champion of the mydentist Academy, working with the Clinical leadership team to prioritize development areas aligned with business and clinical needs.
  • Build strong external networks and relationships with clinical education settings and training providers, bringing in external thinking and innovative learning solutions.
  • Foster continuous improvement, trial new methods and technologies, and draw learning and insight quickly.
Requirements
  • Good influencing skills.
  • The ability to embrace modern learning.
  • Previous coaching experience or experience as a mentor, supervisor, or educational supervisor.
