Job Description:

As a Site Supervisor/Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations on construction sites. This includes making key operational decisions to maximize site margins, coordinating with the design team, and overseeing site employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
  2. Make key operational decisions to maximize site margins.
  3. Coordinate with the design team to review drawings and specifications.
  4. Oversee site employees, clearly assigning daily tasks and ensuring work packs and instructions are fully understood.
  5. Supervise all personnel on site, including subcontractors, agency workers, and trainees.
  6. Actively identify training and development needs for site employees and ensure appropriate training is provided.
  7. Ensure quality control by implementing ITP inspections and issuing defect notices.
  8. Monitor contracts and target programmes to meet key milestones.
  9. Suggest programme changes when improvements are identified.
  10. Review specifications to propose alternatives that increase margins.
  11. Provide accurate material take-offs with clear documentation.
  12. Ensure your own health and safety, as well as the safety of those around you.
Requirements:
  1. CITB SMSTS site supervisor certificate.
  2. CSCS Card.
  3. Driver's licence.
  4. First Aid.
