About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our team at Manchester Royal Infirmary. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing senior medical support to our 48 Medical Assessment Units bed split across 2 wards, our Ambulatory Care Unit which hosts our innovative multi-specialty SDEC service and post take work in our city centre Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant in Acute Medicine, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in Acute Medicine, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of clinical services, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Acute Medicine, with experience in clinical leadership and service development. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
