We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Production Specialist to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tube heat exchangers and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and prepare tube heat exchangers for production runs, ensuring all necessary parameters are met.
- Perform product changeovers, including caustic washouts as required, to maintain high-quality production standards.
- Manage metal detector reject waste and ensure efficient disposal procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with the engineering and electrical departments to resolve technical issues and improve production efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust cooking processes to achieve optimal product temperature and quality.
- Complete relevant documentation and sign off on product waste, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Assist the Area Process Leader in improving line efficiencies through interpretation of production plans and knowledge of product, equipment, planning, and manning.
- Report faults to the engineering department using Mainsaver software and resolve minor issues, mechanical and procedural.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of tubes and their operation is advantageous.
- Numeracy and analytical skills to follow problem-solving and production plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members, supervisors, and managers.
- Flexibility and attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills.
- HACCP knowledge and understanding of processes and product quality standards.
