As a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher, you will have the chance to deliver high-quality lessons to students at Secondary levels, fostering a love for learning and appreciation of the Spanish language and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging Spanish lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and incorporate real-life experiences into lessons.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any additional support requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with a focus on Spanish language education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish to students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • A passion for language education and a creative approach to teaching.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience in delivering curriculum-based assessments.
