About the Role

Aberdeen City Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability Keyworker to join our team. As an Employability Keyworker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals into employment or other positive destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide employability support to individuals on a 1:2:1 basis or in small groups, enabling them to access training and wider services.
  • Work in partnership with other Council services and partner agencies to deliver employability initiatives.
  • Support individuals to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employers, education providers, and other agencies.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of employability strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in an employability environment.
  • Adult Learning and/or Youth Work Experience.
  • PVG Membership for Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, or willingness to obtain prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
