Educational Support Assistant Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive and supportive school in the Royston/Meldreth area.
About the JobThe successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs. This role is full-time, offering a temp-to-perm contract, providing a pathway to a long-term career in a rewarding educational setting.
Key Responsibilities- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to deliver individualized support
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and willing to undergo continuous training
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to working with students with additional needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
