Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive and supportive school in the Royston/Meldreth area.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs. This role is full-time, offering a temp-to-perm contract, providing a pathway to a long-term career in a rewarding educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to deliver individualized support
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and willing to undergo continuous training
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to working with students with additional needs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
