We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Radiochemistry Placement Student. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with world-class scientists in an exciting field that provides a wide range of analytical capabilities and expert advice to us and government agencies/external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work with radiochemistry separations to isolate and purify trace actinides from environmental samples prior to measurement.
- Use inorganic mass spectrometry to characterise isotopic & elemental signatures.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and licence condition requirements.
- Interest in radiochemistry and a degree in Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Physics, or combined Chemistry/Physics.
- Growth mindset, resilience, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A competitive salary of £22,250.
