Job Title: Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate

EDEX is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a wide range of needs, including Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L, and SEMH.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to work alongside our world-class Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS Link Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO), and Specialist on-site teachers. As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis, providing a stimulating and safe learning environment.
  • Liaise with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding the progress of children.
  • Deliver specialist interventions and work closely with the school's therapists.
  • Provide a high level of support to pupils with complex needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the school's staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
Requirements:
  • Childcare related experience, particularly with a SEN focus.
  • Resilience, patience, calm-natured, empathetic, and adaptable.
  • A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements.
  • Experience of supporting children with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L.
  • Future career ambitions to become an Ed Psych, Clin Psych, Therapist, Well Being Practitioner, etc.
