About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Audit Manager to join our team at the National Audit Office. As a key member of our IT Audit team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality IT audit work and contributing to the development of our IT audit strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the IT Audit Director in the development of IT audit strategy and plans
  • Lead and manage IT audit engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective communication with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with audited bodies, providing expert advice and guidance on IT audit matters
  • Collaborate with financial audit teams to ensure effective integration of IT audit work and delivery of high-quality audit reports
  • Contribute to the development of IT audit methodologies and tools, ensuring they remain up-to-date and effective
  • Provide training and guidance to IT audit staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality IT audit work
Requirements
  • Strong academic background and relevant IT audit experience, preferably in a managerial role
  • Proven technical skills in IT audit, including experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Unix, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and SQL
  • Experience of managing IT audit teams and delivering high-quality IT audit work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
