Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with diverse additional needs at Pink Tile Education in Brighton.

This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of children who require extra support to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized 1:1 and small group support to students with various SEN needs.
  • Develop tailored approaches to manage challenging behaviors and maintain a calm environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students, fostering confidence and participation in school life.
  • Establish an inclusive classroom atmosphere, helping students overcome learning barriers.
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, trauma, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, anxiety, and challenging behaviors.
  • Proven ability to work in schools or educational settings.
  • Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual student needs.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Qualifications in SEN, child development, or related fields are desirable but not mandatory.
Compensation:

$42,000 - $47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
