We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of English to join our team at the Wayman Learning Trust in Newham. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to the continued success of our school.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a strong track record of teaching and leadership, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate students. You will have a deep understanding of the curriculum and be able to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all learners.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for teaching and mentoring staff, as well as developing and implementing curricula that meet the needs of our diverse student body.
  • Our school has a well-above Progress 8 score and is consistently ranked as one of the top-performing schools in the area.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
