Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Sister/Educator. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop a new combined role, split 50% direct clinical care and 50% education, to support existing and new pre-assessment staff in learning the skills to become effective Pre Assessment Nurses.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering education programs for pre-assessment staff
  • Providing clinical guidance and support to pre-assessment staff
  • Collaborating with the Department Lead Nurse to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Supporting the continuing development of staff and working in autonomy as a member of the multi-professional team
  • Maintaining effective, compassionate communication with patients, their relatives, and staff of all levels
