Job Title: Tax Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team in Ipswich. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for leading an autonomous corporate tax portfolio, preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field of tax.

About the Role:
  • Lead a corporate tax portfolio comprising individuals, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and corporate tax returns.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.
  • Participate in the training and development of junior team members.
  • Support the senior team on ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field of tax.

Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or ATT qualified or studying with previous tax experience within practice.
  • At least two years of practice experience within mixed taxation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to nurture trusted relationships with clients and third parties.
  • Highly organised and able to manage own workload.
  • Self-motivated and reliable.
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
  • An eagerness to progress with the firm, undertaking continuous professional development.
