About the Position

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behaviour-related issues, helping them to overcome challenges and develop positive behaviours.

Job Description

The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality support to students with behaviour-related issues. This will involve:

  • Building strong relationships with students and staff to promote trust and respect.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to address behaviour-related issues, including anger management and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Contributing to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional learning.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field (e.g., psychology, sociology).
  • Experience of working with young people, particularly those with behaviour-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality support and making a positive impact on students' lives.
