About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Resuscitation Service as a Junior Resuscitation Practitioner. This exciting opportunity will enable you to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality training programs, ensuring that our staff are equipped to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Resuscitation Service team to standardize and develop the service, ensuring it meets the needs of East and North Herts NHS Trust staff.
  • Participate in the planning, delivery, organization, and evaluation of training programs, including adult and pediatric life support.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the resuscitation service delivery, working closely with other team members.
  • Provide training for the general public in life support, as required.
  • Respond to calls for deteriorating patients and cardiac arrests, supported by Senior Resuscitation Practitioners.

Requirements
  • Professional clinical qualification (RN, ODP, or Paramedic) and relevant post-basic qualification (ENB 100/998/124).
  • RCUK ALS or EPALS provider Certificate and Generic Instructor Course Qualification (Resuscitation Council [UK]).
  • ALS or EPALS Instructor/Instructor candidate/Instructor potential and willingness to study and achieve further RCUK provider/instructor course certificates.
  • Band 5 experience in acute care areas, such as ED, CCU, Acute assessment, or Theatres, and experience of working in a multiprofessional clinical environment.
